Checked out the Vancouver International Autoshow at BC Place Stadium yesterday with Stephen. As some of you may already know I’m seriously considering on sacrificing my Mustang for a more practical car and Stephen just had his car written off in an accident. So we were both on a serious mission to get some more info on the choices available.
Upon entry, heard my name being called and was surprised to see Exit Gear beauty Cynthia working at one of the diplays. She was recently selected to be a member of the Fe-lions dance team, the cheerleading squad for the football team the BC Lions. Seems like this talented girl has done well for
herself since I last saw her a couple of years ago. Do I smell another SUCCESS 101 candidate?

Anyways, not going to get into a long write-up about the show, I’m sure you all would like to see the pictures.
Stephen and I ended up hooking up with Cynthia for a burger and beer at my favorite joint Balthazar’s.
It also happened to be their comedy night so we got a free couple hours of stand-up action too. It was a good night ![]()

Seeing that pic of the Ford Crown Vic makes me think of how close I came to buying an old police cruiser. With all the highway driving I do, I figured it would get people out of my way and by the time they realized it wasn’t a cop I would be in front of them.
That’s the Code Zero cruiser. Stephen and I signed up for their course where they teach us the tactical training they give to police. Should be fun, we are doing it at the end of the month
That sounds like a good time. Looking forward to details of that experience.
If it’s practicality you want, then the Lotus Exige is the obvious choice.
Ed, that car makes me want to throw practical out the window. Being that the pricetag on it is just this side of not mind boggling makes me want the car even more… Now trying to drive that on Michigan roads would be a nightmare!
Great car show. Went to one in my city, was nothing like that. All they had were current models and all the dealers there. The most exotic car was an Audi TT, lame. Might have to find one in Chicago this summer.
What model was that Pontiac?
There are quite a few there so not sure which Pontiac you’re talking about. They a had a special GM Tuners booth that had the suped up G6, Solstice and HHR you see with the flashy paint jobs.
This is the one:

Yeah, that is the GM Tuners Pontiac G6 I believe.
Great pics Leo. My personal favs: The Saleen truck, the chrome Ford car (what is it? I don’t recognize it)… and easily the best looking old school TO new school concept car, the Challenger. Dear god I hope they bring that to production…. pure sex!
Good news for you then, as the Dodge Challenger is coming out as a 2008 production model, the SRT-8 version should kick ass!
The mirror chrome Ford is the 605 HP Ford Shelby GR-1.
those are some sweet rides!
Looks like a great auto show. The last time I went to an auto show was like 5 years ago! I think I saw that aston Martin yesterday, well It looked alot like it!
KICK ASS SHOTS!!!
