For all UFC fans, September has certainly been a treat with two major UFC events (one free, one PPV), some great matches on Ultimate Fight Night and the debut of this season’s The Ultimate Fighter.
Tonight is the Light Heavyweight match-up between Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell and Keith Jardine on UFC 76: Knockout. Both are devastating strikers and should make for a fantastic stand-up match. Despite an exciting main event, I’m really looking forward to the Light Heavyweight match between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Forrest Griffin. Since the UFC appropriated the Pride organization, we’ve been seeing some of these established fighters step up the action in the UFC. Rua has a fearless reputation within Pride and Griffin has been known to simply out-punish his opponents.
So I’ve marinated some steaks and I’m ready to enjoy another evening with friends watching tonights UFC fights. Look forward for my UFC post-fight round-up later tonight or tomorrow

I didn’t realize they were starting a new season of The Ultimate Fighter but happened to surf past Spike last week and saw the show starting. It looks like it will be a pretty good season from what I saw of the previews.
