Another awesome fight card, arguably the best fight card I’ve seen for the UFC in quite some time. Was really looking forward to seeing Couture perform again as he is one of my idols. At 44, he is in better shape than most guys half his age and he holds himself in such a cool, classy manner. I knew he would win against Pride fighter Gonzaga but I did not expect Couture to completely dominate the match. Gonzaga’s nose looked like a vagina in dire need of a tampon as Couture beat him senseless.
Another guy I’ve been wanting to see fight for some time was Canadian Georges St. Pierre (GSP). GSP lost his title to Matt Serra last time so it was great to see him win a hard fought decision. Another Canadian of note was Patrick Cote who won a decisive 1st round TKO victory against Kendall Grove.
After the fight we headed out for some drunken debauchery at the Irish bar the Blarneystone and then finished the night off at Barnone. I’m about to pass out right now so here are the results of UFC 74.

Good grief.. I need to get Tivo again. I had got so hooked on UFC it was a joke! Man, it is fun to watch. I kept up with most of the fighters. Dude, last I heard Couture had retired after fighting Liddell for the millionth time. LOL!!! Couture is awesome.
There’s a ton of YouTube video uploads of all kinds of stuff, new and old… just yesterday I was looking at some vids of Royce Gracie fighting some of the most ungodly fighters.

Huerta kicked the most ass!! I want to follow him all the way up – he seems like he could win a title fight and take on anyone, seriously didn’t even budge fighting that other idiot. And now look at his record: 21-1-1! Damn!
And I have a completely newfounded respect for Randy Couture. Incredible fighter, absolutely badass and well experienced. For being 44 he really did look like the best fighter I’ve ever seen in the UFC and totally beat the shit out of Gonzaga. Honestly, Couture is a badass!
