Congratulations goes out to Michael Kwan of Beyond the Rhetoric for winning the City of Villains Collector’s Edition, Cryptic Studios t-shirt and an autographed 8×10 of Darla. Darla and I were going to do the draws in front of everybody at today’s Dot Com Pho but apparently John Chow was inconsiderate and scheduled his daughter’s birthday party to happen at the same time
Happy 1st birthday Sally, make sure your rich daddy gets you something nice.
Darla randomly drew the winners from the Run for the Cure cap that I bought her, there’s two more for her sister and mother. Luckily she picked a local winner, I’ll just meet up with Michael at the next Dot Com Pho to deliver his prize. Michael also graciously donated $50 to sponsor Darla, so he got an additional two contest entries.
Other bloggers who entered the contest by writing their own posts on the charity and my contest were: Bluefur.com, Thomas De Maesschalck’s Blog, Derek Semmler dot com, the.[ED]ition, Nath’s Fibroy Musings, Stephen Fung DOT NET, Blog Authors Is A Success and Derrich.com. I’d also like to send out a special mention to those others who donated money to sponsor Darla in her Run for the Cure: Stephen Fung – $100, Derek Semmler – $77, Michael Kwan – $50 and Ed Lau $25. The generous aforementioned will also receive an autographed 8×10 from Darla. With my $100 donation, we raised $352!

Sweet! Looking forward to receiving my goodies. It’s been a long while since I’ve played computer games (I’m a console guy), so City of Villains should be a lot of fun… and Collector’s Edition too!
You should have come to Sally’s birthday party!
That is awesome.. I would call that a success.
Congrats, Mike!
Glad I could help!
Michael, stay away from that game. You need to stay focused on Freelance Writing. Maybe you can re-blogcontest it and turn it into another “Zune”?
Congrats Michael.
Lol indeed, online games like that game can take up a lot of your precious time.
Thanks again for everyone’s contributions and help with spreading the word!
Congrats Michael on the victory and to everyone else for doing their part to help such a worthy cause, particular congratulations and thanks to Darla and her family for actually participating in the run for the cure!
