The Famous “Hulk” Burger

I was hungry again so I called up my favorite eating partner Stephen and we headed down to our local Knight & Day Restaurant for a famous “Hulk” burger. Normally I have one of these late in the night after one too many drinks. Yes, this is the perfect hangover food. Stephen has never, ever seen or had one of these delicious burgers before so he was quite amazed at how large and tasty it was. A very good value for only around $12.00.

The waitress had enough foresight to bring an extra stack of napkins in anticipation of the mess we would make. The “Hulk” consists of a huge all beef patty, grilled to perfection. The beef patty rests on a fried egg, sounds weird but tastes so right. A fresh slice of melted cheddar cheese, the real issue not that processed stuff. A bavarian sasuage sliced in half and some lettuce, pickles, tomato and special sauce round this baby off. Comes with a side of fries too. You can see Stephen in the pictures below trying to figure out how to fit it in his mouth.

We now have to come up with something else to eat and blog about for next time :)

$12.00?????

Whoa!… I think I’d settle for a Denny’s Steak & Egg Breakfast and use the change for a few cups of coffee when I wake up in the morning… hehe

Man I’m so hungry right now. I didn’t need to see that.

I wish we had burgers like that around here.

Considering a regular burger meal runs around $7 - $10 at a decent sit-down restaurant, a huge burger and generous serving of fries for $12 isn’t bad at all. I’m also rounding up, I believe it was $11 plus some change.

Price was small compared to the size of the burger. Well worth it! :D

Lol, it’s from the Knight & Day chain. There are several locations in the Vancouver area and they are all open 24/7. We went to the one on the corner of Broadway and Boundary in Vancouver.
