My GF is starting work on the television series The 4400 today, she gonna be working in set decorating. As part of her job the production company has lent her all the previous 3 seasons episodes to watch, in order to have an idea what the show is about, both plot-wise and set/appearance-wise. I dropped by her place for a roast beef dinner and we watched the last episode together. Just so happened to be the last episode that I worked on the show. Played a NTAC swat member and we storm a suspected terrorists house. Was really dismayed to see my character run through the kitchen into the living room and hearing my character yell out, “CLEAR!!!” They dubbed me! It wasn’t my voice. I didn’t even say anything on the day of the shoot. Screwed me out of a nice acting upgrade with a voiceover. Oh well, at least they fed me well. On the last episode we had Alaskan king crab (with butter sauce), filet mignon, giant prawns, sushi and too much other yummies to mention. I swear I’d quit this industry if the food wasn’t so good!
The firearm I am carrying is a MP5, commonly used by North America police forces for close-combat urban tactics. It uses a regular 9mm round.

Wow, that’s pretty cool to have on all that gear…and the food that they feed you–lucky!
How easy or difficult is it to enter the acting industry in your opinion?
The gear is cool, although a pain in the ass to get on and off in a hurry. It also sucks to wear in hot weather especially if you gotta run. the food makes up for it, lol
The industry is very easy to get into really, just find yourself an agent to represent you. To do well in the industry is a whole different story. You have to prove yourself consistently reliable and build your reputation. I am quite new to the industry myself (just one year full-time) but I have managed to build a good, professional rep. I manage to get a lot of work because of it.
