If you haven’t already, change your clocks one hour forward before bed tonight.

Daylight time begins in most of Canada at 2 a.m. local time this Sunday, March 11th, and ends at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in November.

Yay we get an extra hour of sunlight.. Though being Vancouver you wouldn’t believe it with the cloud cover we have had recently.

Wish I had read this earlier…didn’t realize the “spring ahead” until 12:30pm today and I had been up for 30 minutes. Nothing like waking up late and realizing it’s one hour LATER!

What’s with the daylight saving time? We used to have it back in the Philippines when there was an energy crisis.

Basically the same thing, a lot of nations do it to conserve energy my utilizing more of the natural light during regular business hours.
This year the United States decided to have it 3 weeks earlier than usual to increase energy savings, most of Canada (not all of Canada practices Daylight Savings) followed suit.
