Was on the the TV series “Whistler” today. Nothing really cool to report, just pretty much hung around, ate and chatted with my buddies that I haven’t seen in a while. I was playing a continuity security/bodyguard for an underground gambling den. Then they swapped me into a cafe patron, then a cemetery staffer at a murder scene.
It seems like there is always at least one extra on set who thinks she’s the shit, and today was no different. The girl cast as the “hot waitress” couldn’t seem to shut up and all her conversations (including her cell phone’s) were loud enough so that everyone could benefit from the excitement in her sad, little existence. I found it really disgusting when she loudly stated that she could easily make this guy leave his girlfriend for her, but she’d just play with him cause she didn’t want to be a homewrecker. She would just call him and when his girlfriend answered she would hang up. Bitch. When poor me was stuck by her for a scene, she succeeded in informing me of her whole life’s achievements in a matter of minutes. Then she wanted to up her coolness factor by showing everyone her tattoo. And yes, it was placed right above her ass crack. A special place, no? (yawn). She should have got a bullseye mark tattoo instead as everyone (except for the creepy old guys and losers feeding her ego by hitting on her) started to make fun of her. She was conveniently not to be found when needed (check crafty) and she was loud when silence was required. Honey, you aren’t that hot and that fake’n bake makes you look orange.
It was a long 12+ hour day filming out in Langley (wanna bang me?), but I’m not complaining as it’s been really slow and I could sure use more overtime hours. Long drive there and back as well, even with no traffic at 1AM (it was dark, rainy and foggy). Just got home to take a shower and get ready for bed, but still wanted to remain faithful to you all and at least put a couple of lame posts up.
But don’t worry, tomorrow night is UFC 68! Which means another UFC Party Pics post for all of you to enjoy. Should be a great fight with Rich Franklin battling Matt Hughes and Tim Sylvia fighting a return-from-retirement Randy Couture. Last UFC party was at my place but this week we are returning to my buddy’s downtown penthouse.
So until tomorrow my faithful readers, I must go to bed now as my eyelids droop and my typing becooooomes . . . ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz!!!
