Phew! What a day!
Just spent the last 12 hours on set shooting the pilot episode for a new ABC television series titled “Samurai Girl“. I can’t say too much about it but it involves a lot of swords, guns, Yakuza and ninjas (flash bombs, ninjas stars and everything!). I hope it gets picked up for a full season as I can see myself working an awful lot on this show.
After a bit of an industry slow-down it’s nice to see the film industry pick up again. Yesterday, I worked on the Canadian crime drama “Intelligence” and tomorrow I was supposed to work on Steven Seagal’s new movie “Higher Form of Learning“, but was cancelled today with pay. I’ll take the money and the day off, thank you 
A couple nights ago I was also blessed with a visit from Success 101 heartthrob Andrea Grant, we met up for a few drinks before she had to return home to New York. Andrea was kind enough to save me a copy of her new comic book “Minx“, based on her alter ego. I kid you not she used to walk around town in her black PVC cat suit 
Today I was also supposed to randomly draw the winner for my Halo 3 Legendary Edition Giveaway. Alas, I am far too exhausted from work to do any draws right now so I will have to keep all of you successful entrants waiting until tomorrow for the winner to be announced. Sorry to keep you in suspense!
Since I was on set all day yesterday as well, the above shows the top commentators for October as of the morning of the 31st. I believe Nick actually came in on top with some last minute sniping, but I’m gonna credit the screen capture here and give Derek the tie for top honors. Second place tie goes to Bob and Sean with Neil a close third. Thanks everyone for supporting this site.
As most of you know, Google finally updated their PageRanks. A lot of the bigger sites, like my friend John Chow (who made $23,448.59 on his blog last month alone!), were bitch-slapped with a demotion, for a variety of fringe reasons. Leo Chiang Dot Com officially went up from a PR3 to a PR4 site according to the new Google PageRank, not bad for a personal blog with no niche. You’ll notice I placed some ads on my site as well, but I have no aspirations of earning anything near what John makes

LOL GDog ….. i see that most nights in Tokyo …. 2 drinks into it and the locals are red faced …. but they push on and have a big one.
