Sorry for the site being down most of the day guys, it was hacked along with Stephen Fung’s and John Chow’s sites. I’m sure a few more in the circle were hit too. Sad really, it’s like keying someone’s car, so completely senseless to try and damage other people’s hard work.
Anyways, here are some pix of the new Airbus A380 taken during their virtual test flight in Germany with Lufthansa cabin staff. The first of the 555-seat Airbus A380 is set to be delivered to Singapore Airlines in October 2007. I’m sure they only utilized the business and first class sections, the economy sections are probably still cramped and crappy. Sure changes how luxury air travel will be conducted in the near future!

Its cool and all, but A) I bet a ticket for those kind of seats cost a small fortune and B) doesn’t help me one bit with my huge fear of flying lol
Yeah, I saw your sites were down earlier and was wondering what was going on. Those pics certainly make it look comfortable. I’ve never taken a really long flight, with the longest being about 6 hours but I am sure those seats/beds would make a world of difference.
Oh dude, I used to have to travel all the time to Taiwan. A 13-15 hour flight in economy, stuffed full of Chinese people. I would have killed for one of those bedseats.
Lol, as much as I would love to travel to various parts of Europe and Asia I am not sure I could handle that kind of flight. I enjoy flying but being stuck in a plane for close to a day does not sound like fun.
They still look badass, to bad it will cost an arm and a leg to get a good seat if any are even available
I love those sleeper seats. There are actually a few airlines like that already and a couple that have seats that turn into actual beds but they’re like…10 grand for a flight from here to London.
Wow, those are some pretty sweet looking seats. They look very comfortable. And I really like image008 with the warm-colored armrest and such. It adds a relaxed feeling to the cabin environment.
Really beats my crappy Transat flight - YUCK!
Did you know that some UK airlines have on board spa services available for their first class flyers? I can’t even imagine what having a massage during turbulence would feel like…
