Today Canada celebrates it’s 140th birthday! It’s sunny and beautiful, but I have to go to work
This is also the first time in years that Vancouver is bringing back it’s Canada Day fireworks celebration because it would always turn into a huge riot, with drunken yahoos starting fights with each other in the downtown core. Certainly not an event that anyone would want to bring their family to, I hope this year’s celebration is more civilized.
You’d think that a country with a Beaver as it’s national symbol would be more interested at making love
140 years old and we’ve come so far: We’ve joined North America, we’ve adopted the 24 hour clock, we’re proud of our igloos and Prime Minister Jean Poutine has introduced National Baywatch Day. I AM CANADIAN!
