Welcome to another edition of Hump Day Video! 
This Wednesday’s video shows the real dramatic side of our animal kingdom. I’ll give you guys a brief synopsis so that you can understand the action a little better. Basically, this is a real, unedited video that a tourist made during an African tour. By pure luck and chance, the videographer captures a showdown between some female lions (female lions do all the hunting for the pride, the males just mate with the females all day and get fed) and a herd of water buffalo. They take offense to the lions attempt to slaughter one of their young. Then some crocodiles enter the fray
The video has a surprise ending that will shock you. This is the reason why I’m a meat eater, I contribute to mankind’s position as being top of the food chain. Otherwise we’d have cows eating us 
I hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I did. I just can’t believe the guy was lucky enough to catch such a rare scenario on film, it was almost like it was scripted.

That is some amazing footage! I’ve always wanted to take an African Safari tour and I can only imagine the intensity of seeing something like this in person.

I saw this clip a few days ago…talk about incredible. You are right…the ending is just crazy. Those water buffalo really make those lions look like pussies!
Think about it. a herd of Water buffalo (like 50+) against what 4 lionesses? See how that one water buffalo flipped that one lioness into the air? Imagine being trampled by all of those buffalo!
Sure if there was a big fight the lionesses might take down a couple of them but once them cows throw their weight around.. the big cats would just get squished!
I like how the croc tried to steal the calf!
I’m more impressed that the calf survived (well we don’tknow that ultimately) because one of the lionesses was holding the calf by the throat with its jaws.
This is why I respect the animal kingdom! I too would love to be on a real African Safari and hopefully see something like this and not just lions and such laying in the trees.

Nice to see the calf getting away at the end, I’m gonna stay optimistic and say that the calf was able to lick his wounds. He sure took off back to the herd quick enough
