My buddy and Online Guru Stephen managed to finally coax me into attending the Crossfit training today. This is the same grueling workout program that the Spartan performers in the feature film 300 went through to achieve a nice chiseled body.
Stephen’s girlfriend Kelly was my instructor and, despite her taking it easy on me, I had to take a few breaks to avoid from puking. Mind you, I fully admit to being out of shape and the last time I even stepped foot in a gym was several months ago. My asthma was really affecting my ability to get enough oxygen and you know it’s bad when you start to taste copper at the back of your throat. Got so winded my ears started to plug up, I couldn’t stop yawning, my vision became weird and my body didn’t know whether it needed to throw up or take a shit . . . something wanted to come out.
My commitment in this is to attend Crossfit a minimum of two days a week (work permitting). By this summer I should be in good enough shape to run around in nothing but a red cape and undies
Rewarded myself with a nice bacon cheeseburger with fries at Milestones and a strawberry cheesecake ice cream cone at home.
