Vancouver’s Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Gaming Convention (Sponsored by WCSFA: West Coast Science Fiction Association) will be held this weekend (October 19-21, 2007) at the Radisson President Hotel in Richmond.

Originally I had planned to attend the event as media, and cover the event for this site. When the event organizers found out I work in the film industry and that I play the Tattooed Pilot on Battlestar Galactica, they graciously invited me to sit in on a discussion panel. The panel is titled Hanging out in Hollyweird and is scheduled for 11AM on Sunday, October 21st. I’ve also convinced them to have some of my colleagues sit in on the panel with me, so with the cumulative experience on the panel we will have worked on every production shot in the Vancouver/Hollywood North area.

If you have a blog, or are a member of the press and wish to attend the weekend event, make sure to contact their Publicity department to have a press pass waiting for you. Or you could also bring your credentials to the Registration desk.

Make sure to check out their VCON website for more details. Hope to see you there!

Kind of short notice, but that’s not your fault in this case. =P

Hopefully there’s some video footage of the event.

Didn’t want to post anything until the booking was solidified. The event goes all weekend anyways.
