Nezumi (Rat) Wrap Party

Celebrated the official wrap party for the Japanese short film Nezumi (Rat) this weekend at the downtown restaurant/lounge Ebisu this weekend. Most of the cast and crew were able to make it and fun was had by all. A little too much for the film’s director who could barely stay conscious at [...]

Ghetto Street

Ah, if only I had a show like this to watch when I was a kid. Perhaps I wouldn’t be so disappointed some people now. Fuck it

On The Set: “Nezumi (Rat)”

Mentioned a few weeks back that I auditioned for a local short film about the Japanese mob (Yakuza). After the audition I was asked to play “Shuzo”, right hand man and enforcer for Yakuza boss “Miyamoto”. My first day of shooting was last Sunday and we filmed on location at The Penthouse, a [...]

My Path to Sparta

Many people have asked me just what is this Crossfit workout that I’ve been taking with Stephen, and I always find it hard to explain since each workout is so bloody different and the workouts are so unlike anything I’ve ever done. Pix from Code Zero

Here are the few pix taken at the Code Zero driver training course. Since this is a course recognized by the Justice Institute of British Columbia (where Vancouver Police trains their recruits), they are working on getting the province of BC to allow for insurance deductions for people who take and pass the course.

Code Zero Tactical Driving Course

Last month Stephen and I attended the 2007 Vancouver International Auto Show, where we signed up for the Code Zero course. Basically, the course simulates day 1 of what police recruits would go through in police academy. They have to finish the entire obstacle course with appropriate sirens (they use different sirens at [...]
