Bloodwork’s Okay and Life’s Getting Busy

The doctor’s office called me back this morning and told me that the results of the new blood tests were in and I am indeed already immune to Hepatitus A and B, I will not require further vaccination. I just have to pick up a note from the doc to give to the HR department at work. All the other blood tests and unrinalysis (I hate peeing in cups) came out clean and normal too.

Also found out I’m booked for the role as a Long Coat in the soon-to-be shot “Tin Man“. My costume fitting is Wednesday, was supposed to be tomorrow but I’m already on “The 4400“, and we start shooting Thursday. I’m committed to the show until July and that means I have to keep my facial hair. I just hope that doesn’t conflict with any bookings for the next Battlestar Galactica movie and season 4 schedule, I play a pilot and have to be clean shaven.

All in all, it was a fantastic morning knowing that my health is great and I will be gainfully employed for the next while. Gonna get busy real soon ;)

Very good news! Grats on all of the new things you are lining up and I am hoping to actually catch some of the things you will be appearing in to see you in action. I’ve been slacking myself as work has been kicking my ass and not leaving me much time for anything else.

Thats too cool! I would imagine acting work snoballs, meaning the more work you get, the more your name gets out and thus, even more work!

So what is the pay like for these acting opportunities? I know some movie extras only make like $100 a day or something, but i have no clue what a recurring role would even remotely net…

That’s really cool, Leo. What’s a long coat? Is that some character? Did you have to audition for the role? In any case, congratulations. Good work. I guess Battlestar will be starting shortly too. You’re going to be a busy guy!

Going to set on thursday for “Whislter”. Never seen it. Have you? Don’t know if it’s good or not. If it’s at the studio they shoot out in Maple Ridge. Lots of shows shooting out there. Must be super cheap to film out there. Anyway, I’ll talk to you later, Leo.

Long Coats are the warriors/soldiers in the movie. Not so much an audition as a go-see where they took pictures of me topless. Can’t wait for Battlestar!

Been on Whistler a few times, never seen it either but it’s always in Maple Ridge. Maple Ridge has a lot of space and locations for filming with very little public distraction, they also offer nice concessions to attract shows.

Good to see you briefly on The 4400, sorry we didn’t get to chat, was just on it again today.
