First of all, it's weird to have a meatless BBQ. But, it is in poor taste for a guest to demand something be put on the menu. In most situations, the guest would bring their own food if they had special dietary requirements (i.e., allergies, religious needs, etc.).
But all bets are off when the in-laws are concerned ;)

Does any-one know the proper etiquette for bbq's..My friend and her husband are in a huge disagreement , their menu has been planned and the father of the husband is demanding that he have triple A beef on a large skewer with garlic salt and pepper. First of all no beef is being served , so my friend has compromised that she will buy the beef but it is to be taken off the skewer when served to her father-in-law. She has approx 100 guests arriving at this bbq and feels that this is poor taste for this man even to request it... I need an answer asap, the bbq is on Saturday the 16th... Thanks alot
