Battlestar Wiki

Wow! It seems like I am surprised everyday by some new website that pays tribute to my character on the TV series Battlestar Galactica. The following is the info on the Battlestar Wiki that someone painstakingly gathered, a collection of scenes and episodes where I was featured. I have also been approached my a Czech BSG fansite to do an online interview for their site, I will post the interview on here when I get approval. The internet sure is a powerful medium!

Tattooed Pilot

The man dubbed the tattooed pilot is a large, bald, tattooed Viper pilot stationed on battlestar Galactica. His tattoos include a tiger on his left arm and a dragon on his right arm.

The tattooed pilot is briefly seen at a briefing when the Fleet had to make an FTL jump every 33 minutes to escape their Cylon pursuers (33).

The pilot is often seen playing card games such as Triad or Dead Man’s Chest. He can be seen at a card game during the crisis after the water tanks were sabotaged, playing with Kara Thrace and Gaius Baltar (Water).

The tattooed pilot is present at a briefing when Kara Thrace is acting as CAG during Lee Adama’s absence from ship (Bastille Day).

He is present at the briefing where the pilots complain that they are missing the confined Captain Adama at their cardgame (Resistance).

He is again playing with Starbuck, Racetrack, Duck and Hot Dog when, after his return from Caprica, Helo comes to the playing table and is treated as a persona non grata by everyone except Starbuck (Flight of the Phoenix).

He is one of several pilots watching D’anna Biers’s documentary (Final Cut).

The tattooed pilot is one of the pilots present during the arrival of Admiral Helena Cain on Galactica. (Pegasus).

He is seen partying with other pilots when Galactica is defending the Majahual and drinking a shooter out of a female pilot’s belly button (Scar).

The tattooed pilot is playing “Dead Man’s Chest” with Starbuck, Hot Dog, Kat and Noel Allison when Helo asks for a callsign for Sharon Agathon and submits his own proposal: “Chrome Dome” (Torn).

During the food shortage, he is present at a briefing before the passage through the star cluster, takes parts in one of the trips through it, and watches Admiral Adama making Kat’s posthumous promotion official by switching her name on the pilot roster with Lee Adama’s (The Passage).

Notes

* Despite appearing in a number of episodes, he has not been named yet on screen. He might be one from the list of mentioned-only pilots. Although he has not been given an official callsign by the writers yet, he is often referred to by fans as “Salty” or “Dragon”.
* Despite saying only one line in the whole series so far, he is one of the most memorable Galactica pilots due to his appearance.

The Battlestar Wiki is run by some other people that I’m not affiliated with, they are the ones who gather all the painstaking detail to post. If they wanna add a link it’s their decision, not mine. Would be cool though ;)

It would be an honor for you to come and join us Leo. I have taken though the liberty of added your website link to your bio page.

Hope you join! If you do… get in contact me so I can notify our members of a cast member. We have a special section for asking “Fan Questions” and I am sure people would love to get some answers.

Hi Shane, your partner Spencer already got in touch with me for some info, I have emailed him back.
As for joining, I have purposely stayed away from joining and posting in any forums simply because I am limited to what I can say by the big folks at the Sci Fi Channel. Wouldn’t want to cross them and become liable for anything, or never be hired again :(
Thanks!

Leo

I’m a university student and my dorm watches a lot of Galactica. Every Sunday twenty or thirty people from my residence house gather to watch episodes.

We do a lot of call-and-response (shouting ‘SPACE PARK’ every time the wheel ship comes up, for instance), and one of our favorite games is Tattoo Pilot sightings.
