Battlestar Galactica Interview for Techzi

banner-resize.JPG

A while ago I was approached by a Battlestar Galactica fansite blog to do an interview with them about my recurring character on the show. Being such a minor, albeit very noticeable, player on the show I humbly agreed (after getting the green light from production). That same interview was translated into German and Czech. The Czech fansite approached me for an interview of their own, which I again agreed to. Then Battlestar Wikipedia graciously gave me my own page with everything you need to know about my character (hell, I didn’t even know half the stuff there).

This is all after my sister in Taiwan informed me that there were several support threads on the official Battlestar Galactica fan forums. It all kinda snow-balled from there and I have to say I’m really overwhelmed by all the support. My heart truly swells with all the love folks :)

In the most recent installment of the movement some have dubbed the “Dragon Wagon”, the fine folks at Techzi have conducted another short interview of this humble performer.

I look forward to working more on Season 4 of Battlestar Galactica (starts filming in May/June) and hopefully my character will actually get a name and say more than one line ;) Thanks again everybody, BSG fans really do rock!!!

I really need to get the DVD’s of this show as I have missed enough that I have no clue what is going on anymore.

The remaining question I have about the future, which I hope Leo can answer is: Why do we wear our wife beaters backwards?

Lol, they’re not backwards, they are actually a sleeveless shirt under a seperate tank top. I believe they are women’s sizes though as I wear a large or x-large and they barely fit.

Ever more unsettling is the fact that we wear womens clothing in the future.

i think it’s just that the wardrobe department is run by women and they like to see us guys with clothes barely there ;)
BTW, we don’t even know if it is indeed the future, they have yet to establish a timeline with Earth.

BSG would be a good show to focus on staying a part of. It’s fan base has grown as the seasons progressed so even being a regular guest cast member would help your career.

As for the show I think the end of S3 may be approaching (episode 20 was aired last week and I guess episode 21 yesterday in the US which for many series would be close to the end of a season run).

So far this season has wondered a little (a fair amount of filler episodes). Episode 20 contained a lot of action though with Balter getting let off, Starbuck returning from the dead and the beginning of a massive battle with the Cylon’s as the entire earth fleet is exposed to a massive Cylon force with no ability to jump away from the conflict.

There are only 20 episodes for Season 3. Season 3 ended with Crossroads Part 2.

TechZi is great, just beacause it´s owner is only 13 year old =)

I need to catch this show. Don’t have cable. But I keep hearing about it all the SciFi podcasts I visit.

[...] Battlestar Galactica (BSG) has been keeping me pretty busy of late, we’re filming season 4. Due to my schedule, I’ve been remiss in posting this train as David Wilkinson of Techzi had tagged me a few days ago. Ironically, David was the the first blogger to ask me for an interview based on my little character on BSG. [...]
