Geez! Where has the summer gone? It’s already September and it feels like I never got to experience summer. While everybody’s been going on vacations I’ve been busy working. But I digress, this post wasn’t meant to be a pity party, this post is meant to show my appreciation to those that continue to support this site by visiting and sharing their thoughts.
Despite the fact that I’ve been at work almost daily and have barely made any posts in the month of August, I’m surprised that the traffic numbers have not died out completely. This should change though since I bought a new laptop computer yesterday, as a matter of fact I am writing this post from work. As long as I have access to a wireless network I will be mobile 
**Edit** Well, I jinxed myself. Sure enough the wireless connection kicked out before I saved and lost half the post. I almost threw my new laptop against the wall in frustration 
As you can see we have a newcomer to this community, granted he made all 15 comments on the same day 
But Michael Fultz’s comments were enough that it proves he had at least read my posts. And it works because he gets last month’s number one spot as Top Commentor.
The remaining four top commentors are pretty much the same bunch of clowns that come on here to share us with radical ideologies . . . or something like that. Derrich and that other Derek, Gary Conn and Bob Buskirk round out the month of August.
It’s also a pleasure to note that the four aforementioned have also helped me support Darla in her charity run to find a cure for breast cancer. Special thanks goes out to those who linked their own posts to the contest and/or made financial contributions. The contest is now over as of today and I will be meeting up with Darla sometime this week where she will randomly pick a winner. I will properly acknowledge those involved in a future post.
