Just like her much compared to alter ego, Marilyn Monroe, the troubled ex-Playboy and Guess model died today after collapsing in her hotel. She was staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel when a private nurse found Anna unresponsive in her 6th floor hotel room and called 911. Anna’s bodyguard admistered CPR but she was declared dead an hour later. Anna’s son, Daniel Smith, died September 10, 2006 just days after she gave birth to her now 5 month old daughter. Although drugs were the likely cause of death, it is still under investigation and an official statement won’t be made until after the autopsy scheduled for Friday. I always knew Anna would go sooner or later due to her very obvious substance abuse issues but I would have guessed crackhead Courtney Love would have been first to go.

Whoa…we just started a massive discussion with all of the girls in the change room at the gym. Majority blamed it on drugs…some seemed to think her skeezy lawyer/lover was behind it.
Very strange that this happened so soon after her son mysteriously passed away.
I agree, though, poor girl was doomed right from the start of her career.
