On this cold, rainy and windy morning I made the trek to a town called Maple Ridge to film Painkiller Jane, starring Kristanna Loken as Jane Vasco. It’s based on a comic book.
Incidently I played a soldier in the pilot episode where Emmanuelle Vaugier played Jane.
Today I played a horribly injured person in a car accident. The car I was in is mangled and in flames behind me as I lie in a pool of my own blood. In reality I was freezing my soaking wet ass off with red, sugary syrup running off all over my head and shoulders. Can’t complain though, after only working two other days so far this year, I was very glad to have the work.
Gotta give Kristanna props too, she’s one of the few actresses I’ve seen who actually look better in person than she does in her photos.
Painkiller Jane debuts Friday, April 13th. Check local listings.
