This month, eleven 7-Eleven locations in the United States and one in Canada are transformed into Kwik-E-Marts as part of a special promotion for the upcoming “The Simpsons Movie“. Luckily, the one in Canada is a short drive from Vancouver in the city of Coquitlam.
Today was not only a special day because I got the unique opportunity to visit Kwik-E Mart, but also because Exit Gear beauty Darla and her lovely daughter accompanied me. It has been several years since Darla and I had seen each other and I had never met her daughter, so it really was a perfect sunny day as we ventured out to get some treats 
The hot and sunny weather made it a perfect day for the excursion, unfortunately the rest of Vancouver had the same idea. Kwik-E Mart was absolutely packed and I was disappointed to find all the boxes of Krusty-O’s and Buzz Cola were sold out. I settled for a Squishee instead 
Fear not however, as every 7-Eleven location will carry The Simpsons Movie merchandise. They just won’t be all done up to resemble a Kwik-E Mart. This promotion is only for a limited time and I assume that it will end when the movie debuts on July 27th. So what are you waiting for? Right now they have a special where you get 3 hot dogs for the price of three

I’ve seen a million posts/articles/online crap about these 7-Elevens, and not ONE of the writers actually went to one for himself (or herself, I gotta keep it real). So you’re the Internet King, at least for today
I can’t believe they put that so close to me. I never get anything cool around here and then they stick the only Kwik-E-Mart in Canada here. I wonder if they are sticking one in Surrey next? They won’t have any problems finding a real Apu to run the place…or 10…
