That was my weekend in a nutshell.
Just a fair warning that some of the photos in the post below may not be appropriate for viewing in the workplace, thus the NSFW warning in the title. However, in efforts to keep my site relatively clean, I didn’t post any of the real dirty pix 
I’ve attended the annual Taboo sex show for the last several years, this was the first year I attended with a dude, much less someone who wasn’t my girlfriend. Still there were lots to see and I bumped into many friends while I was down there. The floor of the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre was packed. I was rubbing shoulders with everyone as I fought my way through the crowds. I got my usual free condoms for resupply, Lifestyles Condoms are one of the major sponsors 
Most of the exhibitors were the usual sex shops selling sex toys, if you love dildos you’ll love this show! One of the booths in particular caught my eye, judging by the size of the crowds, it seemed like it caught the eye of many others. A company called Ace Angels was there promoting their bodypainting services. Their work is extraordinary, but I was amazed at how many young ladies were willing to dish out $50 bucks, get naked, and get painted in front of a crowd of thousands. I can understand if the service was free, but to have to pay for that?
Another booth of notice for you computer geeks was the Red Light Center, a massively multiplayer 3D sex game. Getting lucky online was never so easy!

After a quick bite to eat my buddy and I hit up Crush Champagne lounge for a birthday party. It was my friend, the lovely and sexy, Nazie’s 24th birthday party. She’s a realtor AND a fitness competitor/model. What a combo! I brought her a nice present from the sex show 
Sometime during the night my Pentax A10 digital camera was broken, my fault for letting too many drunken females handle it. It still works but it shuts off on its own after a few seconds. I sent it off to repair but I decided to buy a new camera anyways. I opted to stay with Pentax since I was familiar with its operation. I bought a Pentax Z10, their new flagship point&click. It’s sleek, compact and has a true 7X optical zoom. I still needed something that I could pop in to my pocket. At under $300, it was probably the best choice for the price as well.
We finished off the night at another friend’s downtown condo to drink some more, sober up and relax. Here’s my friend Will admiring the refrigerator. Nope, there’s no food in there!

A couple of my friends were working there Fri/Sat. One was to be at westcoast piercing and the other was there to sign posters etc. Then a bunch of people I knew attended as well. I was busy doing other things though. Looks like it was fun though.
Sucks about the camera, least you were able to find a good replacement!

*Rosie - I think this was the first time I went on a Saturday evening so it was crazy packed. Usually I go on a weekday when the crowds are smaller.
*Tyler - Yeah, I never got that, why go to a sex show to get tattooed or pierced? I’d rather get it done at a professional studio/controlled environment than in front of a crowd. I guess it satisfies some peoples need to show off.
One of my sisters went and saw one girl get tattoo’d. She said it was the ugliest tattoo she’s ever seen lol
